N.H. delegation announces more than $821K for Nashua Public Transit

"WASHINGTON – On Thursday, U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, (D-NH), a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, and U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and U.S. Rep. Annie Kuster (NH-02) announced an $821,500 federal grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DoT) to the Nashua Transit System."

When Granite Staters on the Seacoast and in Merrimack contacted Senator Shaheen about their concerns about chemicals in their water, she took action, and she has led efforts in Congress responding to PFAS contamination ever since.
