Manchester, N.H. – Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s campaign manager Harrell Kirstein released the following statement after tonight’s debate with WMUR.

“Tonight, Granite Staters were presented with a clear choice in this election. Senator Jeanne Shaheen has dedicated her career to making a difference for New Hampshire, and right now she is fighting to deliver additional COVID relief and to protect health care access for everyone while lowering costs. Her opponent, ‘Colorado Corky’ Messner is calling for zero dollars in additional COVID state aid for New Hampshire, and continues to support efforts to gut health care protections for more than half a million Granite Staters with pre-existing conditions. The contrast could not be more stark between Shaheen, a bipartisan fighter who puts New Hampshire first, and Messner, a self-interested carpetbagger who’s only in this for himself.”
