DOVER – Teamsters Local 633, representing more than 4,700 New Hampshire workers, endorsed Sen.Jeanne Shaheen, D-New Hampshire, for re-election Monday, her campaign announced.

Shaheen greeted workers at the Dover UPS facility’s shift launch Monday morning.

“As governor of New Hampshire and now as our senator, Jeanne Shaheen has always stood up for Granite State workers and worked across the aisle to achieve real results,” said Jeffrey Padellaro, principal officer of Teamsters Local 633, in a prepared statement. “Senator Shaheen understands the challenges facing workers today, and that’s why she fights to protect our rights to collectively bargain, to lower health care costs, and to raise the minimum wage. Ever since she was governor, she has championed the expansion of vocational training and apprenticeship programs that train workers in new skills and connect them to good-paying jobs. Her record speaks for itself, and we know we can always count on her to fight for us in Washington.”

“Every Granite Stater deserves a good job and affordable health care, and I will always fight to protect New Hampshire’s workers and their families,” Shaheen said in a prepared statement. “In the Senate, I’ve been focused on ensuring our workers have the protections they need to safely do their jobs in the middle of the pandemic. New Hampshire communities are still hurting, and I’m fighting for another relief package that delivers federal resources to restore our economy and create new jobs, while ensuring Granite Staters are healthy with a robust testing program to help us keep people safe. I’m honored to have the support of the working men and women of Teamsters Local 633, and look forward to working together to make a difference for working families across the state.”
