At today’s debate, Republican U.S. Senate candidate “Colorado Corky” Messner lied about Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s bipartisan leadership.
The truth is, Shaheen works across the aisle to make a difference for New Hampshire, and will do whatever it takes to support Granite Staters during COVID, just as she had throughout her career.
In the 115th Congress, Shaheen was among the top 10 most effective Democratic Senators.
In 2018 and 2019, Shaheen had Republican cosponsors on 66 of her bills, putting her in the top 20% of all Senators for introducing bipartisan legislation.
The most frequent cosponsor of Senator Shaheen’s legislation is a Republican, cosponsoring 83 bills introduced by Senator Shaheen.
Meanwhile, Messner has refused to split with Trump on virtually any policy, ever.
