Manchester, N.H. – Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s campaign manager Harrell Kirstein released the following statement following today’s debate with NHPR.

“Granite Staters know they can trust Jeanne Shaheen to work across the aisle and make a difference for their families. She is a leader in the Senate working to protect people with pre-existing conditions and expand access to quality, affordable health care while taking on big drug companies to lower costs. Meanwhile, her opponent is an opportunistic carpetbagger who is campaigning on his support for repealing the Affordable Care Act, and has claimed pre-existing conditions do not exist to try and justify his support for repealing the Affordable Care Act and protections for the 572,000 Granite Staters with diabetes, asthma, cancer, and more. There is a clear contrast in this race between Jeanne Shaheen, a bipartisan fighter for New Hampshire, and ‘Colorado Corky’ Messner, a self-interested Trump loyalist who would kick vulnerable families off their health care.”
